Family First Home Inspection will  thoroughly inspect the roof, gutters, siding, downspouts, grade, vegetation, exterior steps, doors, decks and outer foundation.

I then move inside the house where we check the attic ventilation, roof joists, look for moisture and or water presence, mold, open junction boxes, and roof penetrations like your chimney and waste vents to make sure we don't have active water leaks.  I also make sure that your bathroom exhaust vents are properly installed to exit the home and that they don't just blow into the attic or into a soffit.

I inspect the home room bye room. Testing windows, outlets, doors, ceilings, walls, heating and cooling if applicable.  In the bathrooms I check for plumbing leaks, p-traps, water flow, drains, ventilation, mildew, toilets secured to floor, as well as home maintenance like caulking areas that are prone to moisture penetration.  In the kitchen I inspect the water flow, water temperature, cabinets, drawers, power outlets, microwave, stove, dishwasher, fridge, and of course cabinets, doors, ceiling, and windows.

I perform an inspection of your heating system in each room as well as central air if applicable.  In the basement I inspect the structural integrity of floor joists, carrier beams, support columns, and foundation.  I inspect water heaters,  boilers, furnaces, plumbing, waste lines, sump pumps, and of course the electrical panels.

At the end of my inspection we will recap all findings and answer any questions you may have.  I give you an online report with pictures and videos about my findings.  I use Home gauge which is one of the most advanced report writing software systems on the market.

There is never a charge for clients that have questions after the inspection has been completed and report given,  feel free to call at anytime I'm happy to help in any way I can.  I also offer a discount's for returning customers that have hired me for a previous inspection where you decided  the house was not worth the repairs and you have continued looking.  I call that my loyalty and appreciation discount.
